To be clear on the price: with the pre-check, replacement parts (tyres, bulbs or headlights, wipers, and so on) are not included and are charged separately at their actual cost. We always let you know before we replace anything.
What do we check before your inspection?
These are the most common reasons cars fail the inspection. We check them in advance so you do not drive to the station for nothing.
Windscreen washer fluid (sufficient level)
Wiper blades (wear, streaks on the windscreen)
Headlight alignment (misaligned lights)
Tyre tread and wear (legal minimum tread)
Brake lights, indicators and number plate lights
Exhaust system (leaks, rust, noise)
Handbrake operation
Visible oil or fluid leaks
Windscreen condition (cracks, stone chips in your line of sight)
Seat belts
Trailer coupling and wiring (if applicable)

Common questions
The inspection itself has a fixed official fee, set by the government and charged by the station. That is separate from our service fee of 180 euro plus VAT. We do not present the inspection fee as our price. We charge for the work of arranging everything for you. The exact official fee depends on the type of inspection and is published by the inspection station.
You receive an inspection certificate listing the points that are not in order. You then have a short period to fix them and return. Our pre-check is meant to avoid this in the first place. If something does fail, we go over what is needed with you and can arrange the re-inspection.
The inspection itself usually takes twenty to thirty minutes, but with waiting time it often runs longer. Because we handle the appointment and the trip, it costs you no time at all. You hand the car over and get it back with the result.
Yes. When you sell a car in Belgium, a valid inspection is usually required. We can arrange the sale inspection for you so your car is ready to sell. Combine it with our selling service and we handle it in one go.
